Welcome to Alasdair Campbell Furniture, a passionate design and furniture making studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our journey began in 2010, founded by Alasdair Campbell, an experienced and talented designer and maker. Alasdair's lifelong interest in design, backed by a (BEng) Degree in Product Design Engineering from Strathclyde University and a 3-year apprenticeship with Bodan Design & Manufacture in Edinburgh, has enabled him to master the skills necessary to create functional, beautiful pieces.

Our work is deeply rooted in the ethos of producing stunning, high-quality furniture. Our clients entrust us to create unique, customised pieces that will become heirlooms, and we take this responsibility very seriously. Recent Projects

Here are a few examples of our recent projects:

• *Insh Table:* This Nakashima-inspired refectory-style dining table is made from sycamore and fumed oak. The central beam connects the trestle legs by means of a hidden wedge system, ensuring stability and ease of assembly.

• *Scottish Oak Console Table:* This elegant, sinuous console table required serious R&D to steam bend a relatively large piece of oak. Alasdair was commissioned by Bodan Design & Manufacture to build the piece for one of their clients.

• *Scottish Sycamore Dining Table:* A contemporary Scandi-style dining table made from a tree felled in the client's garden. We air-dried the wood for over a year before kiln drying and crafting the piece to reflect both the modern and traditional within the client's home.

• *American Cherry Low-slung Storage Cabinet:* Designed for a previous client, this flexible storage system complements an existing suite of furniture, featuring finger-jointed legs and frame & panel doors of solid cherry.
