History

Founded by Peter Salter on December 24th, 1993, SJP began its journey as a small joinery workshop. With Peter's unwavering dedication and expertise accumulated over his 47-year career, the company steadily grew, experiencing sustained success.

In June 2013, SJP was acquired by the current management team, who also own Proactive Joinery and Construction Limited (PAJ), a sister company based in London Bridge. This strategic acquisition has created a complementary synergy, allowing PAJ and SJP to offer a comprehensive service package, from design to installation.

Safety First

SJP prioritises the safety and well-being of our team above all else. In recent years, we have made significant investments in workplace safety measures and continue to provide ongoing training and support to our staff in collaboration with our safety partners, John Gubb and All Day Safety Ltd.

We have implemented a range of safety initiatives, including improved storage and racking facilities, enhanced extraction systems, comprehensive equipment safety training, health surveillance programs, and the utilization of mechanical lifting equipment.
