The Space Place is a self storage facility established in Spring 2004. Since that time, our number and range of clients have grown, and we have established ourselves as not only the first self storage facility in the Down area but a reputable company with a strong customer focus and flexibility in meeting client needs. The majority of our clients are repeat customers, and we feel this is the strongest endorsement of our service values and commitment. Our facility is located just off the carriageway between Newtownards and Bangor, and we are happy to receive prospective clients who may wish to view the facility, by arrangement, prior to committing to storage with us.

You may be moving home and need temporary storage for furniture, or you may be a business requiring stock storage or document storage facilities. We have experience in working with clients, big and small, and we are here to meet your need for cost-effective, accessible storage solutions. We have a complimentary forklift on-site to assist with heavy loads and can provide free racking for document storage clients.
Home Storage
Most people associate storage facilities with business use, but there are many home and domestic situations that can benefit from the availability of cost-effective storage for short or long periods. With no lease to sign, you are not obligated to pay for a service you do not need. You rent the space, you store your items, and you hold the key, ensuring you have control of your storage at all times. We provide a complimentary on-site forklift to help move heavier items, and with our accessible layout, you can park outside any of our drive-up storage units for easy off-loading and loading of items.
Business Storage
Your business needs accessible and dependable storage solutions to meet your current and future requirements. We are well-positioned to provide these facilities and at competitive costs. We have drive-up units and also internal units within our main building, which is fully alarmed. Insurance for your stored items can be arranged, at an additional cost. With no lease to sign, we feel it is the quality of our service and competitive pricing that will confirm The Space Place as the right choice for your organisation's business storage needs.
Moving House
The Space Place not only provides excellent, cost-effective storage solutions, but we also provide a unique trailer-based system. This enables us to leave you with a large trailer-sized box, which you can then fill at your own pace. You then contact us to return and pick-up the trailer for storage, or transport to another location.
