Business Details
We are Artifex Homes, a family-run business known for our high standards in exquisitely finished high-end residential building work across Hertfordshire. We have operated for more than a decade, having founded the company in 2013 after years of experience in the construction industry. Our founder Tom has been in construction since 2004, originally training as a carpenter, and now leads a team of highly skilled tradesmen. Our team includes bricklayers, plumbers, tilers, carpenters, painters and decorators, supported by seasoned Project Managers Dan and Ted. We specialise in new builds, extensions, loft conversions, garage conversions, renovations, interior design and landscaping for private clients, architects and developers. We put excellent service, outstanding quality, excellent communication and competitive pricing at the heart of every build we complete.
Our approach begins with an on-site visit, a free quote and a clear contract to provide clarity and peace of mind. We work closely with clients and, where needed, architects from our trusted network throughout design, planning and submission to local authority. During construction we prepare the site with security fencing where necessary and keep noise and disruption to a minimum for you and your neighbours. We maintain proactive, hands-on management, keeping clients informed throughout and answering questions promptly. At completion we identify any final snagging issues with you and address them so you are happy with the exceptional finish.
