Welcome! I'm Mark Howden, a seasoned curtain and blind fitter serving the Tunbridge Wells area and beyond. For the past 18 years, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients, from curtain makers and interior designers to retail shops, offices, schools, hotels, and individual homeowners. My dedication to providing a high-quality service has led me to work on projects throughout the South East of England, spanning areas like Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and even venturing as far as Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, and Wiltshire. My experience extends internationally, too, with fitting projects completed in Cyprus and Portugal.

As I approach retirement, I've shifted my focus to concentrate primarily on the Tunbridge Wells local area, no longer accepting projects within the M25. My passion for this trade has led me to be invited by a major curtain track manufacturer to share my expertise in track bending techniques across the country.

This includes meticulously hanging curtains, ensuring perfect drapery and showcasing your chosen fabrics. I also handle the installation of pelmets, valances, lathes, swags, and tails, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to your space.

My expertise extends to woodwork, capable of creating custom pelmet top boards and bespoke bracket plinths. I can also provide precise template cuts for pelmets and shape and assemble wooden pelmets for pre-fabrication, offering a seamless and tailored approach to your window treatments.

My service caters to all types of blinds, from standard to made-to-measure options. I've got you covered for verticals, Venetians, rollers, cellular and pleated blinds, woven wood, vision, and parallel Romans, even the latest amazing sliding panels. For ultimate luxury and convenience, any of these options can be electrically automated, adding a touch of modern sophistication to your windows.

Repair & Restoration

Unlike some fitters who might refuse to service products not purchased from them, I understand that things happen. I carry a large stock of spares in my fully equipped van, allowing me to repair and re-cord broken tracks, rails, or blinds in most cases. If you have a problem window, conservatory, bay, or an unusual shape that needs attention, I'm here to help. My expertise extends to providing repair, service, remedial, and restoration work on your existing window treatments.
