Our journey began in 2003 when Dave and Roy Gibson, a father and son duo, decided to take a leap of faith and turn their passion for woodwork into a business. Meet the Team

Our team is comprised of experienced craftsmen and women who are passionate about what they do. Our founder, Roy Gibson, is a master craftsman with a degree in Furniture Design and Manufacture from the Chilterns University. He is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process and ensuring that every piece of furniture meets our high standards. Roy is also a hands-on leader who enjoys spending time in the workshop, helping his team assemble bespoke furniture and participating in deliveries and fittings.

Dave Gibson, Roy's father and business partner, has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. After retraining and investing his savings in a small workshop in Ruswarp, he joined forces with Roy to establish Gibson's Cabinet Makers. Dave is responsible for the financial aspects of the business and still enjoys spending time in the factory when he can.

Jack Donoghue, our factory foreman and director, joined us in 2015 after completing his apprenticeship and gaining a Level 3 diploma in Cabinet Making. He has been instrumental in helping us expand our business and has become an invaluable member of our team.
