Our Story

With over 30 years of experience in hospitality and high-end residential design, our Principal and Creative Director, Alex Kravetz, is a renowned designer and visionary. His creative roots and inspiration lie in the world of theatre, where he worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company in his early days. Prior to founding his own design practice, Alex was at the helm of one of the largest global hospitality firms, leading the design work on some of the most iconic projects around the world for over 15 years.

Our Philosophy

At Alex Kravetz Design, we believe that timeless elegance and luxury are the core principles of good design. We are fluent in many styles and have worked on a diverse range of projects since our inception in 2003, from urban hotels to spa retreats to historical renovations. Our hands-on approach allows us to maintain a flexible and proactive approach to design, providing an exceptionally personal service to our clients.

Residential Design

We specialize in creating high-end residential and bespoke interiors for exclusive commissions. We work around the world on exclusive projects, bringing together all of our technical and spatial knowledge to create unique and personalized spaces.

Hospitality Design

We work with independent and brand operators in a variety of styles, creating defined stories to differentiate each project with timeless and sustainable ease. We strive to create interior architectural spaces that are memorable, location-relevant, and budget-conscious.

Commercial Design

We create commercial spaces with a full understanding of ever-changing work patterns and the need to provide aspirational environments. We design spaces that bring to life the personality and culture of the places where we spend most of our intellectually active time.

Interior Photography

We offer in-house interior design photography services, showcasing your project. Our photoshoots can be used in sales and marketing literature and are part of the Brandology journey. We work on staging your property to achieve the best results during your marketing efforts.

Architecture

Our interior architecture services involve creating a stage set, where we look at the interiors through an architectural lens and provide this additional service to look at all aspects of the property in terms of the Masterplan, public flow, and interaction between the spaces.

Procurement

We have a deep understanding and knowledge of the available supply chains and resources, which is vital to deliver a successful project. We are constantly challenged by new locations to find the best on the market and with sustainability in mind, it provides us with the unique opportunity to work with many local artisans and suppliers.
