Founded by Leo Kerr, who apprenticed under his father Colin, a renowned master craftsman, Kerr Carpentry has grown into a respected force in the construction and joinery industry, serving clients across Orkney and beyond.

Leo's passion for his craft began in his father's workshop, where he honed his skills in furniture restoration, bespoke furniture making, and fine carpentry. He later broadened his expertise by working for a leading joinery and construction company, gaining valuable experience in a range of project types. Driven by a vision to combine skillful craftsmanship with dedicated customer service, Leo established Kerr Carpentry in 2014, operating from a custom-built gallery and workshop in Burray.
