W D Davison & Sons Ltd is a family-run business that was established in 1964 as a private and commercial painting and decorating company. Over the years, we have built a reputation for our expertise, commitment to excellence, forward thinking, and highly trained staff. We are a national painting and decorating company with over 50 years of top-level experience, from domestic homes, office developments, hospitals, shopping malls, schools, universities to world-famous boutique hotels.

Training is given a high priority at W D Davison & Sons Ltd. From formal apprenticeships to fully qualified staff, ongoing training is essential to encourage and enable our staff to achieve and develop excellence in their trade. All our operatives are CSCS registered, achieving gold registration full status, our delivery of effective training is fundamental to our success.

Our Services

We aim to exceed our customers' expectations. Our reputation has been built on our highly skilled operatives meeting customers' requirements by delivering projects of a high quality on time and to the required specification and satisfaction as requested by them. We operate nationwide and our project values range between 500 to 1,500,000. Our clients include Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, National Health Service as well as the private and public sectors.

We are specialists in a broad range of services. These include internal and external decoration, painting repairs, partnering, measured term and prime contracting, as well as Heritage and Ecclesiastical works. Industrial and Commercial painting, Heavy Duty Corrosion Resistant Coatings, Fire Retardant and Anti-Graffiti Applications, and specialist decorative effects are also projects undertaken by ourselves.

Accreditations

We are proud to have received several accreditations for our work, including Supreme Winner PPG Painter of the Year in 2010 for Durham Crown Courts, and being a finalist in 2012 for the Arnold Clark Automotive Complex in Birtley, Gateshead. We also won the Health & Education Winner in 2013 for the Dementia Care Unit at Monkwearmouth Hospital.
