The company is a member of the Security System & Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB) since 2003, and offers the following services:

• Alarms: System 9 Services provides business and home alarm systems, which are supplied, fitted, and maintained. The police response to alarm activations varies according to the type of alarm installed. System 9 Services offers two types of alarm systems, namely Type A and Type B. Type A alarms are remote signalling alarms, including intruder alarms, which terminate at approved central monitoring stations. They must be maintained and used in accordance with British Standards PD6662. Such alarms will be registered with the police and identified by a unique reference number. Type B alarms are audible only and hybrid alarms, including bells-only and automatic dialling alarms. URNs will not be issued for Type B alarms. To obtain police attendance, in addition to their activation, Type B alarms will also require some indication that an offence is in progress.
