Located in the heart of Elgin, Scotland, McDonald and Munro Ltd is a leading electrical, plumbing, heating, and mechanical contractor with over 45 years of experience. Our company has a rich history dating back to 1974 when it was first established. With a team of over 40 employees, many of whom have been with us for more than a decade, we have built a reputation for our expertise, reliability, and commitment to providing exceptional services.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of highly skilled and experienced electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, and office staff. We have a dedicated team leader, Miguel Gomez, who has been with the company since 1994 and has played a significant role in the company's growth and development. Our managerial team consists of Miguel Gomez (Director), Mark Lawrence (Electrical Contracts Manager), Dan Marshall (Plumbing and Heating Manager), Alan Gibson (Plumbing and Heating Estimator and Commercial Engineer), Mike Anderson (Electrical Contracts Manager), and Gary Allan (Store Manager). Our office team, comprising Tracey Duncan (Office Administrator), Ana Maria Gomez (Accounts Manager), and Kelly-Ann Garvock (Office Manager), provide valuable support to our engineers and management team.

Electrical Services

As a leading electrical contractor, we offer a comprehensive range of electrical services, including rewires, extensions, and new builds. Our experienced and fully qualified electricians also provide testing and certification services, fire alarms and security installations, fibre optic cabling, and CAT 5 & 6 network cabling.

Plumbing, Heating & Mechanical Services

We have recently expanded our services to include plumbing, heating, and mechanical solutions for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients. Our expert plumbers and heating engineers provide a range of services, including boiler servicing and maintenance, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, installation of new or upgrading of heating systems, air and ground source heat pump installations, solar thermal, and solid fuel heating system installations.
