We only use FSC-certified timbers from managed sustainable sources.

Michael Cottrell's Background

Michael was born and raised near Holt in North Norfolk. He began his joinery apprenticeship at North Dean Joinery in Holt and later studied Furniture Design to HND level at Rycotewood College in Oxfordshire. During his studies, he won several prestigious awards, including the Best Student of Carpentry and Joinery Award and the Rotary Award for Best Contemporary Design. After completing his education, Michael worked for several renowned furniture makers before returning to Norfolk to start his own business in 2000.
