Our Services

At Fine Designs Architecture, we offer a comprehensive range of architectural services, from initial consultation to project completion. Our process involves understanding our clients' needs and aspirations to deliver a personalized approach to design.

Stage 1: Initial Consultation

Our initial consultation is a free-of-charge meeting at your home or site. This meeting allows us to appreciate the existing dwelling, building, or site, offering sound advice on design potential, works costs, and local legislation. We will tender our fee directly following this meeting for your approval.

Stage 2: Local Authority Approval

Most works require Planning or Building Control Approval. We advice on the appropriate applications at the initial consultation stage and prepare drawings and specifications for all submissions to the local authority. We will submit applications and deal with queries until approval is granted.

Stage 3: Project Completion

Once local authority approvals are in place, we coordinate drawings and specifications for contractor tendering and site construction. We offer a works inspection service to monitor the project's progress, ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, and administer the site contract.

Sustainable and Ecological Design

We appreciate the importance of energy-conscious design, incorporating passive and active methods of energy generation and preservation. We aim to incorporate sustainable and ecological principles in all our designs, featuring high-performance building envelopes, careful insulation, and the integration of renewable energy sources such as ground-source heat pumps, solar panels, and wind turbines.
