At Go Wild Landscapes Ltd, we are dedicated to designing, building, and maintaining environmentally friendly natural gardens in Witney and Oxford, creating beautifully landscaped gardens in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. Our team, led by Andrew Marshall, is passionate about creating outdoor spaces that not only enhance the environment but also encourage wildlife to thrive.

Our Story

Go Wild Landscapes was conceived and is run by Andrew Marshall, who has been involved in gardening since his early years. With a degree in Biological sciences, Andrew set up his own business, initially in forestry contracting, and gradually became more involved with tree surgery and gardening maintenance. This led to the establishment of Go Wild Gardening Company approximately 12 years ago. Andrew has developed his landscaping and design skills to incorporate a wide range of design influences while always incorporating a natural organic element with wildlife in mind!

Our Services

We offer a complete design and build service, with designs individually tailored to suit each client. Our own preference is for wild gardens that will encourage wildlife - this means natural planting styles with native plants. We are passionate about plants and often, if left to our own devices, like to liven up the planting and add exotic species as well. We like to use organic materials and recycled products in the hard landscaping. We often create gardens for people who prefer a low maintenance garden, and this is easily achievable whilst still incorporating the wild theme.

Garden Design Services

Our design process usually begins with a free visit to your garden, during which we can discuss the landscaping possibilities of the site and your desires for your garden design. We then create a bespoke design that suits your needs, incorporating your preferred style, whether it be modern, traditional, or a mix of both. Our designs are carefully crafted to ensure that your outdoor space is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly.

Wildflowers

Wildflower gardens attract bees, butterflies, and birds to your garden. We can help you establish your own wildlife garden with our Wildlife Turf. Creating a wildflower garden is one of the best ways to attract and support wildlife in your garden, while also helping the environment.

Planting

This is perhaps the most personal aspect of the garden design process. Plants are chosen for their visual impact, be it for colour combinations, form, or structure, and also for their importance to wildlife and for culinary and aromatic reasons.

Decks

Wooden decks can add an attractive outdoor extension to your home. We mostly use either the traditional grooved Scandinavian Redwood timber or the more contemporary smooth Southern Yellow Pine boards, with cedar sometimes used to create a very modern style of garden.

Ponds

Ponds are a specialty of ours, adding interest and visual appeal to a garden, with a favourite of ours being, of course, the Wildlife Pond.

Buildings

We can build bespoke garden buildings to fit in with the landscape of your garden. These are hand-built to fit using natural materials such as green oak timber and cedar shingles and can be constructed with a green roof to reduce environmental impact and blend in with the landscape.

Our Philosophy

Our main ethos is to design, build, and maintain gardens in an environmentally friendly manner, and wherever possible to enhance the environment to encourage wildlife. We employ a small band of three to four landscapers full and part-time and also use several local specialist craftsmen who help Andrew put the concepts into reality.
