Services
Chimney Sweeping
Professional cleaning of chimneys for solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances. Our NACS-certified technicians use advanced brushing and vacuuming techniques to remove soot and debris. Regular maintenance prevents dangerous blockages and carbon monoxide buildup, ensuring safe operation of open fires, stoves, and AGAs.
Nest Removal
Safe extraction of bird nests and debris from chimney flues. We address blockages that could cause carbon monoxide poisoning or chimney fires. Our team works carefully during non-breeding seasons and provides preventive solutions like caps to avoid future nesting issues.
CCTV Surveys
Comprehensive internal chimney inspections using high-resolution camera technology. This non-invasive method identifies structural damage, blockages, or wear in chimney linings. Ideal for pre-purchase property checks or diagnosing persistent draught problems in Thatcham homes.
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Supply and installation of sealed-for-life carbon monoxide detectors. These essential safety devices provide early warning of dangerous gas buildup from faulty chimneys. Our alarms meet British safety standards and require no battery replacements for continuous protection.
Cages and Caps Fitting
Installation of weatherproof caps and bird guards to prevent debris ingress and downdraughts. We recommend appropriate solutions based on chimney type, including stainless steel options for durability. These fittings reduce maintenance needs while maintaining proper flue ventilation.

Questions
What chimney services do you offer in Thatcham?
We provide traditional/power sweeping, nest removal, CCTV surveys, carbon monoxide alarm installation, and protective cowl fitting for all chimney types across Thatcham and surrounding areas.
Why are carbon monoxide alarms important?
CO alarms detect this odourless, colourless gas from faulty chimneys. We supply sealed-for-life models that meet British safety standards, providing critical protection against poisoning risks.
Can you handle emergency chimney issues?
Yes, we offer urgent call-outs for chimney fires or sudden blockages. Our NACS-certified team responds promptly to Thatcham properties with safety-critical chimney problems.
How often should chimneys be swept?
Annual sweeping is recommended for most chimneys. Wood-burning stoves require quarterly maintenance. Gas and oil flues need yearly checks plus technician inspections for safety compliance.
Do you provide preventive chimney solutions?
Yes, we install bird guards, weather caps, and draught excluders to prevent blockages. Our CCTV surveys also identify potential issues before they become serious safety hazards.
