One of our most notable projects is the Elevated House, a residential extension/remodelling project that transformed a semi-detached property in Whetstone, London. The project involved adding a new volume to the back of the property and creating an open plan living space.

The new living pavilion is designed to flow seamlessly into the garden, with carved out steps and platforms creating a gradual transition in levels. The dark brick facade and large glass openings create a striking contrast with the original house, celebrating the new pavilion.

Another notable project is the Hinton Mews housing scheme, a social housing competition project in Brighton and Hove. The project involved transforming an overgrown, steeply sloping site into a series of three identical courtyard houses.

The cranked forms of the houses are interlocked at ground level and disengage on the upper level, giving a sense of reduced mass. The courtyards provide private outdoor spaces and maximise daylighting into each house, while the stepped facade creates a rhythm that mimics the sloping site.
