Clean Sweep Chimney Services is a family-run chimney sweeping company that was initially established in 1964. We are a company that still upholds traditional values and ethics while at the same time embracing 21st-century techniques and equipment to ensure we stay one step ahead of the competition and give a superior service which ensures that our customers are happy and they come back year after year.

Our company is based in the Havering and South Essex area, although we have rounds that cover North London, West London, North West London, East London, and Central London areas, as well as the Havering and South Essex areas. We are capable and equipped to sweep many different types of chimneys, from the smallest of bungalows with an open fire or stove, right up to 150-foot commercial chimneys and everything in between.

At Clean Sweep, we occasionally subcontract work out to third-party contractors, but all work will be carried out by trusted and vetted sweeps who are Sweep Safe registered and fully insured. Our Services

Our Biomass Servicing department provides specialized servicing for biomass installations, which requires regular maintenance by trained engineers with the appropriate experience and equipment. We use specialist equipment, such as the Wohler Flue gas analyzer, to ensure accurate measurements and readings.

Our Chimney Creosote or Tar Removal service uses the Cre-Away pro method, a dry powder method that transforms hard creosote into something that can be removed through standard sweeping methods. This method is highly effective and does not damage your home or chimney.

Our Chimney Sweeping service is a professional and thorough cleaning of your chimney, ensuring the removal of flammable creosote to aid in the prevention of chimney fires. We also provide Chimney Camera Surveys, Chimney Pots, Cowls, and Bird Guards, and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint services to ensure your chimney is in top condition.
