Offord and Camp is a family-run business that has been delivering exceptional building services for over five decades. Founded in 1965, our company has grown to become one of the most reputable and respected building contractors in the Cambridge and surrounding areas. With a strong family background, our company is now run by the second and third generation of the Offord family, John and Tim Offord, both chartered engineers.
Our Workforce
Our skilled and experienced workforce comprises groundworkers, bricklayers, carpenters, and decorators, many of whom have been with the company for over a decade. Many of our staff have completed apprenticeships while working for Offord and Camp, and have gone on to develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and professionals. Our apprentices attend CITB accredited day-release courses at Cambridge Regional College (CRC), and three of our apprentices have gained recognition of their abilities, including being entered for a national competition and winning regional decorating competitions and awards.

Our Approach
We are a close-knit professional team with the breadth of skills, knowledge, and expertise to undertake anything from the simplest to the most complex project. We work closely with architects, offering the whole range of building services from painting and decorating to extending and converting homes, as well as renovating education and research establishments. Our attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results have enabled us to develop long-term relationships with clients and professionals.
Awards and Recognition
In June 2017, we received an award at the LABC East Anglia Building Excellence Awards for "The Best Change of Use of an Existing Building or Conversion" for our conversion of an old windmill into part of a beautiful new eco-friendly home that we constructed beside the old mill structure.
