At Greengate, we are a premium furniture maker of traditional English and contemporary styles, operating from our workshop in High Wycombe, England. With a rich history of craftsmanship and attention to detail, we strive to provide quality, bespoke upholstery to the discerning upper segment of the market.

Our Purpose

Our primary focus is working with interior designers, a few retailers and export clients on bespoke projects. However, we are also more than happy to supply a single chair to customers who have always promised themselves a quality item and are finally going to realise that dream! We construct our furniture using a blend of traditional and modern methods, combining seasoned beech and ash with laminates and solid mahogany, oak, iroko, wenge or hickory for legs and other show-wood areas.

Since we cater to the discerning few, your choices are extremely open in terms of fabrics, leathers, finishes and dimensions. The only limit is your imagination. We understand that every project is unique, and we work closely with our clients to ensure that their dreams become a reality. Whether it's a one-off chair or an entire interior design project, we are dedicated to providing exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled customer service.

Construction Details

Our furniture is built to last, with attention to detail and a focus on longevity. Frames are made from selected woods, and we often produce custom finishes to match other pieces. Special finishes such as gilding, liming, and painting can also be undertaken to order. We are meticulous in every aspect of the construction process, from frame-making to upholstery, to ensure that every piece meets our exacting standards.
