The Kent Conservatory Company is more than just a conservatory company - in fact, we are builders with a difference. Our sister company, Eclipse Construction, was formed before we launched The Kent Conservatory Company and has undertaken projects from such wide extremes as a modern church steeple to an ultra-modern Grand Design style house that contains the most up-to-date technology. We are a family business with family virtues and a wealth of experience and talent that you will struggle to find elsewhere. If you want old-fashioned service, true professionalism, and a quality product, give us a call on 01580 438000. Our design consultations are free - what is there to lose?
Our Services
We have over 30 years of experience in the design, build, and installation of quality bespoke conservatories, orangeries, roof lanterns, gazebos, lodges, and all kinds of glazed extensions. No project is too large or too small, and each one is project managed so that you only have one call to make if you need a progress report or perhaps advice on matters connected with your conservatory. Our skilled and experienced team of craftsmen also produce and install our full range of products. We work hard to ensure that we always meet the high-quality standards expected by all our customers.
Bespoke Conservatories
Our bespoke range is intended for applicants who need a conservatory that must meet certain requirements or is in a particular style that relates to their property. Almost anything is possible, whether it be an unusual joinery style, finished paint colour, difficult/unusual roof shape, or particular fixtures or fittings. Although the finished product will appear to have been made as a one-off item, some standard parts will be used in order to provide a bespoke conservatory at a realistic price.
Aspect Conservatories
We recognise that not every installation demands a bespoke structure and have developed a standard range of high-quality conservatories which will enhance your property at a lower price. The Aspect range is really a selection of what we have found to be the most popular size of conservatory people require. The finished product will look good on most properties but heights and widths of doors and frames are fixed to enable high quantity production at low cost.
Orangeries
The definition of an orangery has become blurred in recent times. Traditionally, orangeries were constructed for the growth and cultivation of exotic plants and fruits. They were extravagant buildings with large windows and doors set between brick piers. The roofs were made from glass set on cast iron rafters and large cast box gutters to create areas of flat roof. The entire roof area was then surrounded by a parapet wall, and the exterior walls were embellished with large stone columns and pilasters. In modern times, the definition of a bespoke "orangery" has become less stringent, allowing for more flexibility in design and functionality.
