Our Journey

Ci Davis, the founder of CIDA Wood Design, started his journey in 2003 as Hebden Renovation Company Ltd. In 2015, he relocated to South Yorkshire and relaunched the business as CIDA Wood Design Limited. Throughout his years of experience, Ci has maintained a strong commitment to providing a personal client-centred approach, establishing trust with his clients, and staying attentive to their requirements.

Our Mission

At CIDA Wood Design, our mission is to create beautiful, functional, and sustainable products that exceed our clients' expectations. We believe that every piece of wood has its own unique character, and our goal is to celebrate this by using traditional carpentry skills, modern machinery, and traditional hand tools. Our workshop, located at Elsecar Heritage Centre, is where our skilled craftsmen carefully select the finest materials to bring your design ideas to life.

Our Team

Our team consists of skilled carpenters, including Ci Davis, who has over 15 years of experience in carpentry; Michael Smith, a trained architect with a background in furniture making; and Jaime Ward, a skilled timber framer. We work together to create exceptional products that meet our clients' unique needs.

Ordering

We take pride in offering a personalized service from the initial consultation to the final delivery. Our process begins with a no-obligation quote, which includes a meeting at your home to take measurements. We will then provide an estimate for completion and a fully inclusive quote, noting any chargeable options. Once a commission is agreed upon, we will issue an invoice, with the balance due upon delivery.
