Our History and Tradition

Our journey began in 1961 when our site in Measham, Leicestershire, started manufacturing fireplaces. We're proud to continue this long-established tradition, producing over 90% of our fireplace range in our very own factory. Our commitment to quality, design, and customer satisfaction has allowed us to grow and become one of the largest stockists in the country.

Our extensive showroom spans two floors and offers a wide range of fires, fireplaces, and stoves. We're based in Measham, Leicestershire, and are easily accessible with full wheelchair access to both floors and ample car parking directly outside our store. Our Products and Services

At Fireplace by Design, we offer a diverse range of fires, fireplaces, and stoves to cater to every taste and requirement. Whether you're looking for a traditional or contemporary design, we have something for you. Our product range includes:

• Fires: We offer a wide selection of gas, electric, and solid fuel fires, including inset, free-standing, hole in the wall, and wall-mounted models. For rooms without a chimney or flue, we have powerflue, balanced flue, and flueless gas fires, as well as a variety of electric fires.

• Fireplaces: We manufacture most of our fireplaces in-house, allowing us to offer a wide range of styles, materials, and colours. We can also make fireplaces to measure, ensuring a perfect fit for any space.

• Stoves: Our collection of stoves includes models with heat outputs ranging from 2KW upwards. Our knowledgeable sales team can help you select the ideal stove for your needs, and we can arrange installation by our registered fitters if required.

• Media Walls: For a modern alternative to traditional fireplaces, we offer media walls with Ezee Glow electric fireplaces. These provide the freedom to design a personalized space that meets your specific preferences.
