Business Details
We have been designing and crafting bespoke kitchens and furniture for over thirty years from our Somerset workshop. Our founder Stefan Elswood and director Jayne Elswood lead a skilled team of joiners dedicated to traditional craftsmanship. We believe that a kitchen should enhance both your daily lifestyle and the long-term value of your home. Every project begins with a detailed consultation at your property or our studio to understand your unique requirements. Our design process integrates multifunctional spaces for dining, working, and socialising within a luxurious environment. We handcraft each piece using time-honoured methods ensuring durability and timeless appeal.
Sustainability is central to our operation, with a biomass boiler and solar panels powering our workshop. We source timber locally, including oak drawer carcasses from a supplier just three miles away. Our portfolio spans kitchens, pantries, boot rooms, dressing rooms, and bespoke furniture across Somerset, Devon, and Dorset. We prioritise an enjoyable, rewarding experience from first meeting to final installation. Client satisfaction remains our highest professional standard, reflected in our expanding circle of happy clients.

Services
Kitchens
We design and handcraft bespoke kitchens tailored to your individual project requirements, integrating multifunctional spaces for dining, working, and socialising. Our skilled joiners use traditional time-honoured methods to ensure each kitchen lasts for generations. The process begins with a detailed home consultation to create a design that enhances your lifestyle and property value.
Other Rooms
We extend our bespoke joinery beyond kitchens to create pantries, boot rooms, dressing rooms, laundry rooms, and home offices tailored to your needs. Each space is designed with the same traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail as our kitchens. Our team ensures these rooms seamlessly integrate into your home's layout and aesthetic.
Furniture
Our skilled joiners handcraft bespoke furniture including wardrobes, desks, dining tables, and media cabinets to complement your interior design. Each piece is made using traditional methods and locally sourced timber for enduring quality. We collaborate closely with clients to create unique items that reflect personal style and functional requirements.
How We Work
Our refined process begins with an initial meeting at your home or our studio to discuss ideas, preferences, and your living environment. We then develop detailed designs and handcraft every element in our workshop using traditional joinery techniques. This ensures your expectations are met and the experience remains enjoyable from start to finish.
Green Credentials
We operate a biomass boiler fuelled by workshop wood waste and PV panels to minimise our energy consumption and carbon footprint. Our timber is sourced locally, with oak drawer carcasses supplied from just three miles away. We also manage a nearby woodland habitat supporting deer, woodpeckers, and birds of prey.
