At Flourish & Bloom, we are a partnership of two expertly trained, broadly experienced, and fully insured gardeners who specialise in the maintenance and progression of domestic gardens and estates in the North Wiltshire area. With a combined 43 years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing a quality gardening service that is both reliable and trustworthy.

Our Journey

Richard Smithston has been working in horticulture since 1993 and qualified in 1997 with a National Diploma from Sparsholt College. His extensive career has taken him from council parks to garden centres to nurseries and domestic landscaping. Cath Smithston qualified with an NVQ II in Amenity Horticulture and a Pass With Commendation in the RHS Intermediate Certificate in 2006. She has worked in various prestigious gardens, including a large private estate and a privately owned estate that is open to the public.

Garden Maintenance

Regular garden maintenance is our passion, and we love to help our clients manage and develop their gardens. With our knowledgeable and experienced service, your garden will be maintained to high standards. From correct annual pruning to lawn care, maintenance of your beds and borders, topiary, hedge trimming, and small tree work, we can tend to all aspects of your garden.

Soft Landscaping & Design

If your garden is looking a bit tired, we can rejuvenate it with original planting plans. With our deep knowledge of plants for the garden, we can help you create a beautiful and thriving outdoor space. We also offer a garden design service for small gardens, including hard landscaping features and fencing, which can be referred on to our trusted partners if required.

Consultation & Coaching

Our consultation and coaching services allow us to spend time with you on a one-to-one basis to enable you to get the most out of your garden. Whether you are a keen gardener looking for inspiration and advice to take your garden forward or need coaching sessions to get you started on the basics of gardening, we can provide a bespoke service to match your requirements.
