Welcome to D.A.D. Electrical Ltd, a family-run business that has been serving Norfolk and Suffolk since 1981. Our company has grown over the years, and we are proud to say that we have built a reputation for providing excellent service and workmanship to our customers.

Our History

Our journey began when our founder, Martin Drew, started the company in 1981. My father's passion for electrical work soon brought me, Simon Drew, into the fold, and I completed my four-year apprenticeship with him at Norwich City College. We have since worked together, focusing on domestic and commercial installations, catering to private customers, local builders, conservatory companies, heating engineers, local councils, and hostels. We take pride in our personal service, from initial meetings to providing quotations, conducting installations, and finalizing invoices. Our customers can expect to deal with one person from start to finish, unlike larger companies where they may encounter multiple individuals.

At D.A.D. Electrical Ltd, we offer an extensive range of services to cater to your various electrical needs. These include:

• NEW BUILD/New Installation: We have extensive experience in carrying out electrical installations in new build properties and extensions to existing properties. We work closely with building developers, builders, and clients to ensure a seamless process from design to handover.
• CONSUMER UNIT UPGRADE: If you have an old fuse board with rewirable fuses, it's recommended to upgrade to a modern RCD/MCB type consumer unit for added safety and convenience.
• REWIRE OF EXISTING PROPERTIES: Rewiring can be a challenging task, but we've got years of experience in making the process as smooth and hassle-free as possible for our customers.
• OTHER SERVICES: We also offer additional services such as testing and certification, fault finding, electric shower installation, electric underfloor heating, garage supplies, additional lighting and sockets, water heating, storage heating, central heating controls, cooker installation, and solar PV installations.
