We offer a range of specialist services, working throughout the United Kingdom and internationally, operating on Network Rail infrastructures, London Underground, private networks, and renewable energy sectors, including solar and windfarms. Our expertise includes cable jointing and testing on networks up to and including 400kV. Our Accreditations
Advanced Power Services holds a Principal Contractors licence with Network Rail and is audited for accreditations with Achilles, Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB), Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS), ISO14001, ISO9001, and ISO45001. We are also Constructionline Gold certified, ensuring our clients' confidence in our ability to deliver high-quality cable jointing and installation projects.
Electrical Degasification Services
As a specialist electrical contractor, we offer electrical degasification services, including transformer degasification and maintenance, to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your equipment. Our services include:
- Monthly Check-ups: Includes temperature monitoring, oil level checks, leak detection, and silica gel breather checks
- Annual Check-ups: In addition to the above, includes oil sampling, laboratory tests, condition checks on bushings and transformer cabinets, and measurement of partial discharge
Cable Degasification Services and De-Commissioning
In addition to our electrical degasification services, we also provide cable degasification services, including low oil pressure alarm checks and maintenance. Our cable decommissioning services include fluid filled cable decommissioning using various techniques, oil sampling for PCBs, and disconnection of fluid filled tanks for recovery.
