At WJ Project Services, we are a team of experienced test and commissioning engineers with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services across the rail, offshore, and private network sectors. Since our inception in 2007, we have established a strong reputation nationally for our expertise in protection testing and low and high voltage systems.
Our Services
We deliver turnkey project solutions, operating primarily in three sectors: rail, offshore, and private network operations. In addition to performing on-site technical engineering, we also manage every stage of the production process. Our team has a wealth of engineering experience and expertise, and we strive to achieve the highest possible standards on all the projects we undertake.
Rail Infrastructure
We have a proven track record of delivering AC and DC railway traction systems, and we specialise in the commissioning, testing, and entry of these services. Our skilled team can carry out new projects and maintenance, as well as the design, manufacture, testing, and implementation of these systems. Our experience includes working on projects such as the Network Rail North West Electrification Project, the Great Western Mainline Electrification Programme, and the West Coast Mainline Autotransformer Project.
Offshore Projects
Specialising in a number of power supply systems, we're able to test and commission HV/LV switchgear in any situation. Our electrical works follow strict safety procedures, guaranteeing the safety of everyone on site, from engineers to oil rig workers. We're proud of our work on Montrose Alpha BLP (Repsol Sinopec), where we were involved in the commissioning of a HV interconnector between two platforms.
Private Network Operators
Alongside our rail and offshore work, we're happy to serve individual clients who have their own unique needs. Providing training and remote consultancy, we worked with Sellafield to produce the methodology required for testing unit protection schemes. We were also involved in a project with Smurfit Kappa Townsend Hook, completing G59-3 testing on their new CHP system.
