Report
We recently engaged C Baird Roofing, a decision we deeply regret. Their unprofessional conduct and substandard work have caused significant inconvenience and damage to our property. From the outset, the company displayed a lack of professionalism. Obtaining an estimate was unnecessarily difficult, and the provided quote lacked transparency, with no breakdown of VAT. Despite promises of a 4-7 week timeline, the work was completed in a mere 3 days, without any prior notification and we were not contacted on completion of work.
Furthermore, C Baird Roofing breached GDPR by delivering our invoice to our neighbors instead of directly to us.
The handwritten, incomplete invoice forced us to chase the company for clarification which took multiple attempts to get any information. We requested that the invoice be updated to reflect all the work that was undertaken however despite several requests for this, we never received it. A serious oversight occurred when a damaged gutter, which required replacement, was repaired with tape and wire without our consent or knowledge.
When we raised this issue, we were met with indifference and any further emails about resolving this were ignored.
Subsequently, another "repair" by C Baird Roofing began to leak, further highlighting their incompetence. Despite an attempt to get in touch with the company, they ignored our concerns and email - responding only to our downstairs neighbour. We strongly advise against hiring C Baird Roofing. Their unprofessionalism, poor workmanship, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them an unreliable and damaging choice.

I would like to mention that we recently had our building reroofed. The team was amazing and very professional. The job was completed to the highest standards. All four tenants are delighted with the workmanship. We highly recommend C Baird Roofing for their excellent service.
