WHO WE ARE
Matthew Clay Architects is a Chartered RIBA Practice situated in the charming town of Corsham, close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bath. Our team is composed of imaginative, dynamic, and experienced professionals who share a fervent appreciation for thoughtful, innovative design. Each project we undertake, regardless of budget, size, or timeline, is treated as a unique opportunity and approached with a fresh perspective, always keeping the client's and context's needs at the forefront. WHAT WE DO
Matthew Clay Architects are first and foremost Listeners. We believe that the design process involves fully understanding our clients' requirements, which allows us to maximise the potential for achieving the best possible outcome from a project.
As Facilitators, we help clients turn their dreams and aspirations into reality. From the initial outline discussions, we encourage clients to contribute their own ideas and actively participate in the development of initial ideas into detailed plans and, eventually, into a built reality.
Clear Communication is one of our core values. We strive to express our thoughts effectively through sketches, digital visualisations, physical models, and, most importantly, through ongoing design discussions. From the first conceptual conversations to on-site detail meetings, maintaining a continuous dialogue is crucial for ensuring that the design process yields the best possible results.
