Services
Chimney Sweeping
Our comprehensive chimney sweeping service utilises traditional brush methods and rotary techniques to ensure complete flue clearance. We perform up-draught checks to verify proper ventilation and use drone technology for external inspections. Each service concludes with a certificate of sweeping, confirming compliance with safety standards. Regular maintenance prevents blockages and ensures efficient operation of heating appliances.
Bird Nest Removal
Specialised removal of bird nests from chimney flues using professional equipment to eliminate blockages. We address common nesting species like jackdaws and pigeons, preventing smoke backdrafts and structural damage. Post-removal inspections ensure complete clearance, and we recommend bird guards for future prevention. This service maintains chimney functionality and prevents carbon monoxide risks.
Integrity Testing
Comprehensive smoke testing to identify carbon monoxide leaks in chimney systems. We block flues and use smoke to detect breaches, conducting visual and olfactory checks in all affected rooms. The process includes CCTV diagnostics and produces a detailed certificate. This critical safety check protects occupants from hazardous gas exposure.
CCTV Inspections
Advanced visual inspections using high-resolution cameras to assess chimney condition. This service identifies structural defects, verifies nest removal completeness, and checks liner integrity. Real-time imaging helps diagnose issues during integrity tests, providing accurate documentation for maintenance planning and insurance purposes.
Stove Installations
Professional installation of Ecodesign-ready solid fuel stoves meeting environmental regulations. We offer expert advice on appliance selection, ensure proper ventilation, and complete necessary certification. Our installations balance aesthetic appeal with efficient heating performance, maintaining compliance with current building standards while preserving traditional charm.
