Our journey began in 2008 when our founder, Dean, decided to venture out on his own after working in the automotive and construction industries. Dean trained in the automotive industry after leaving school and later moved to the construction industry, where he specialized in cosmetic repairs. The recession led to him being made redundant, and it was then that he entered the colour coating industry. Combining his skills from both industries, Dean started Colour-Tec as a one-man operation offering onsite cosmetic repair services.

In 2013, Dean's partner, Kate, joined the business, bringing her exceptional customer service and administrative skills. Kate was eager to learn about the new industry and has since become a key member of the business. Her organizational skills have enabled the business to become more structured, setting us apart from our competitors.

Dean's attention to detail and commitment to quality is unparalleled, and Kate's organizational abilities ensure that every project is meticulously planned and executed. As a family-run business, we are dedicated to providing top-notch services and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our Services

At Colour-Tec, we specialize in colour coating UPVC fittings, including windows, doors, conservatories, and other materials. We offer both factory-based spraying services at our Horbury-based factory and on-site spraying services nationwide. Our team of experts uses proven techniques to repair damages and ensure that every project meets our high standards.

We also provide cosmetic repairs, using the latest technology in colour spraying to achieve the highest possible standards. Our combination of spray painting qualifications and cosmetic repair skills means we can offer a unique skill set that is extremely beneficial within the window and construction industry.

Recent Work

We have completed numerous projects over the years, including door colour changes, full house colour changes, and cosmetic repairs. Our recent work includes a door colour change from white to black in Bradford, a faded composite door resprayed to RAL 6034 in Ossett, and a full house colour change in Middlestown. We take pride in our work and strive to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard.
