Our Company

Cleverley and Spencer has been established for many years, with a team of skilled stonemasons and craftsmen who are passionate about their work. Our master stonemason, Ivor Spencer, has been working in the industry for over four decades and has built a reputation for delivering outstanding results. Ivor is a member of both the National Association of Memorial Masons and the National Association of Master Letter Carvers, ensuring that our work meets the highest standards.

Our experienced stonemasons have honed their skills through extensive training and have achieved a range of qualifications, including NVQs and certifications from the Construction Industry Training Board. Our master lettercarver, Ivor Spencer, has undergone advanced training to become a CITB AI Assessor, ensuring our work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our Showrooms

We have two showrooms, located in Dover and Ashford, where you can visit us to discuss your memorial requirements. Our showrooms are open Monday to Friday, with no appointment necessary. We also offer home visits, Monday to Friday, by appointment, so that we can discuss your memorial requirements in the comfort of your own home.
