Founded by Rory Burdett-Hammonds in 2015, Climbatize Ltd has grown from humble beginnings into a respected and trusted name in the industry. Rory, a born-and-bred Midlander, has a deep passion for the outdoors and a life-long love for trees. His early years on a farm taught him valuable lessons about hard work, ethics, and the importance of taking care of the natural world.
After studying Arboriculture and gaining his National Certificate in Arboriculture, Rory traveled to New Zealand to hone his skills and gain valuable experience. It was there that he encountered the majestic Tane Mahuta, one of the largest kauri trees in the world, and honed his skills in high-altitude work, including maintaining ski lift cables and systems in sub-zero temperatures.
Returning to the UK, Rory worked for several established tree surgery companies and Forestry of Scotland, refining his skills and knowledge. In 2015, he founded Climbatize Ltd, a company dedicated to providing top-notch services to clients across the Midlands.
