All Dry Damp Proofing

Had a Damp & Timber survey done on our building. The survey and report were both done very quickly and to a very high standard. Simon is efficient and very professional. I'd recommend All Dry to anyone.

There were several issues relating to our damp property such that we were considering selling in auction as they seemed too overwhelming and we didnt have a full understanding. Simon completed a survey which gave us a much better picture of the range and complexity of the damp problems.He was able to provide a list of the actions needed to rectify the situation and he was confident in stating that the treatments would be successful. This gave us the belief that we could move forward. The work involving fitting fans, new vents, joists and damp treatments in several rooms has transformed the house. It feels like the property is breathing - it is fresher and warmer and gives us with the incentive now to complete renovations which would have been impossible prior to Simons intervention. He gave us confidence that he had a complete understanding of the issues and how to fix things. Simon provided an excellent service. He attended to carry out the works each day at the time he specified. He and his team took great care to protect the house with protective boards and sheeting, and the dust was minimal. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars for the work and service received.

My experience with Simon was top quality from start to finish. He assessed the house by carefully considering the stages of its life. I've never seen a tradesman think so carefully before actually beginning the work, and that gives me all the confidence I need to trust the work will be lasting. In our case, we did not have rising or penetrating damp - rather we had cold spots created by a cold wall and other elements, such as irrelevant vents, that were creating air tunnels. With the installation of insulated plaster and low carbon ventilation, the house now feels drier, warmer, and more long-lasting. His communication is faultless, his team was really respectful, and the result is felt already... This guy really really knows his stuff! So definitely use him if you're stuck in a house with damp. There's light at the end of the tunnel!!

From a very detailed and thorough initial survey, which addressed issues we were unaware of, right through to completing the actual work, we found Simon to be very knowledable, well organised and punctual, so everything you could ask for when having people working in your home! As a bonus, he was really down to earth and easy to talk to, explaining everything that would happen during the process.

They also cleaned and tidied as they went along and this made the process much easier for us.

We used All Dry when renovating our kitchen and need new damp courses and plastering throughout, plus additional ventilation. The service was professional and slick from the off, with all carpets and access areas covered in advance of any work taking place or equipment being moved in.
