At MO Architects, we help clients create better homes through clear planning advice and thoughtful architectural design from the outset. As Nottingham-based residential architects, we specialise in extensions, new-build homes, renovations, refurbishments, remodelling and bespoke residential projects, alongside planning applications. We operate across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire and have particular experience within Nottingham neighbourhoods such as West Bridgford, Wollaton, Beeston, Mapperley, Arnold and Sherwood. Our practice is led by an ARB-registered architect who holds a Diploma in Conservation Architecture and has been nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medals. With 18 years experience and over 350 projects delivered, we understand both the design and planning considerations involved in residential work.

Our services are structured to guide clients through each stage of their project with practical, informed support. We begin by discussing the property, ambitions, budget and planning constraints, followed by development of the architectural proposal in consultation with the client. Planning applications are prepared and managed as required, including communication with the local authority, before detailed drawings and technical information are produced for construction. We can subsequently provide support with tendering, selecting a contractor and overseeing the construction process. We work with homeowners, developers, community organisations and commercial clients, offering creative responses that are carefully considered, technically developed and realistic within the relevant planning context.
