Services
We offer a comprehensive range of electrical services, from installing extra sockets and lighting to completing substantial rewiring and rural electrical projects. Inspection and testing, consumer unit upgrades, EV charging, solar PV, batteries and electrical fault repairs are also undertaken. Standard appointments are generally arranged within 5 to 10 working days, while larger jobs are quoted at a fixed price after survey.
Our Aberdeenshire EICR service is designed for properties ranging from houses and flats to HMOs, holiday lets, farmhouses and steadings. We examine and test the wiring before preparing the required Electrical Installation Condition Report. The main board and first five circuits are covered by the starting price, with extra boards and circuits calculated separately. Most inspections can be booked within 5 to 10 working days.
We provide regular electrical inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems. Our certified electricians assess wiring, outlets, circuit breakers and overall system condition to support safe and efficient operation. Preventive maintenance, system upgrades and tailored maintenance plans help maintain reliable performance, extend component lifespan and reduce the need for costly repairs.
We upgrade existing fuse boxes and consumer units to provide a suitable modern board for the property. Prices begin at 550 + VAT for a typical domestic installation and can reach around 950 + VAT where the board is larger or more involved. Rural properties may require additional checks to the earthing arrangement and other boards, so we survey and test before confirming the final price.
We undertake rewiring work for a range of residential properties, including houses, flats and rented accommodation. Depending on the installation, we can replace every circuit or only those requiring attention. Our full rewires include new cabling, accessories and a consumer unit, while all completed circuits are tested and certified to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026.
Our outdoor lighting services combine attractive design with practical performance to improve exterior spaces. We install efficient lighting solutions that can emphasise gardens, trees, shrubs, architectural features and focal points. Pathways and driveways can benefit from improved visibility, while security lighting supports a safer environment. We also provide dependable emergency lighting for residential and commercial properties.
Our 7.4kW smart EV charger installations are available for homes, farms and holiday lets across Aberdeenshire from 900 + VAT. The price includes up to 15 metres of cable, including suitable runs to detached garages and outbuildings. Before work begins, we provide a free survey of the earthing, electrical supply and cable route. Most standard installations can be arranged within 5 to 10 working days.
We provide professionally installed solar panels for houses, farms and small businesses, beginning with systems of 3 to 4kWp from 7,000. Every domestic project starts with a free roof survey, after which we issue a fixed written price, usually within one working day. Most home installations are completed in one to two days, and battery storage is available where required.
We undertake commercial electrical work from initial installation through to testing, certification, maintenance and repair. Businesses can use our service for fit outs, three phase power, distribution, commercial lighting, emergency lighting and fixed wire testing. Workplace EV chargepoints and PAT testing are also provided. Following a free site survey, the work is agreed through a written scope and fixed price.

I would highly recommend this company. The service was reliable, professional, and excellent throughout. They quickly completed several small electrical jobs around our house to a very high standard, and also did a fantastic job running the cabling from inside to outside for our EV charging point.
This was particularly challenging due to the limited access and difficult crawl space, but the work was carried out efficiently and with great attention to detail. Everything was completed neatly and to a high standard. We are extremely pleased with the result and would not hesitate to use their services again.

I had several electrical jobs needing attending to. I contacted Faithful Sparks and Steven came. He was earlier than expected- which is very rare these days and very much appreciated. He was very professional and friendly. A few weeks later I had to use Faithful Sparks and Steven helped me again. Very proficient. I cannot rate Faithful Sparks highly enough. Thank you Steven. Not 10 out of 10 but 20 out of 10. Mrs Kathleen Willox.

Just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Steven the electrician! He came to our flat last minute in the middle of a very cold start to winter to fix our broken heaters. He walked us through everything he was checking, explained what he found and was incredibly thorough the whole time. Best part? He fixed the issue right then and there in the same appointment!
Were definitely calling him for any future electrical problems, seriously cant recommend him enough.

We had a power outage that affected all the sockets downstairs, leaving us without hot water or heating on a Saturday afternoon. Steven came to our rescue promptly. He quickly provided a temporary fix for our heating and hot water, and then dedicated his weekend to finding the root cause of the issue.
Steven spent many hours over his weekend working diligently to restore our power. By Sunday evening, we had working power back downstairs. He also identified some underlying issues and will be returning to make additional repairs and recommend work to bring our system up to standard.
We are very grateful for Stevens dedication, expertise, and hard work. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. Highly recommend his services!

I had Steven from Faithful Spark Electricians supply and fit a home EV charger. Very nice guy and very knowledgable and methodical in how he works. Job done to a very high standard for a more than reasonable price and even ensured the place was tidy before he left. He'll definitely be my go-to electrician from now on. Thanks so much.

Steven responded right away when I reached out, arrived on time and assessed the issue we were having. He carried out the job quickly and with really good attention to detail.

We at Peterhead Property Letting Agency received a speedy and efficient service from Faithful Spark Electricians. They kept us informed every step of the way on the repairs they recently carried out at a rental property to renew an Electrical Installation Condition Report detailing the need and cost of various works and providing photographs.
We found them to be reasonably priced whilst at the same time providing a top class professional service. Would highly recommend them

Just had my electric car charger installed by Mr. Steve Watt, Faithful Spark Electricians Ltd of Peterhead. I'm so pleased to have found him. He's a very professional and thorough worker, who shows his expertise and all contacts are polite and friendly. Estimates for work given prior to commencement, so you're aware of charges. I will definitely recommend this gentleman to family and friends.

We had a recent situation with our kitchen wiring which gave us cause for serious concern. I called Faithful Spark Electricians on a Sunday morning and Steven was there shortly afterwards to check it out. We had a new consumer unit fitted and wiring upgrades done within a week. We have never had them in before, but I must say, I am well impressed with the professional approach they showed to the job. No dramas, they just got on with it, did a great job, very tidy wiring, etc, tested everything and gave us a certificate of safety. Left the place tidy, and us with peace of mind knowing our wiring is now safe! We will be getting them back to do a few other jobs around the place. We highly recommend Faithful Spark Electricians, Thank you guys for helping us recently!
