Bespoke Handmade Kitchens
Out of Wood designs and handcrafts bespoke kitchens in their Truro workshop using traditional joinery techniques and premium timbers such as oak, ash, and walnut. Each project begins with a thorough consultation to ensure the layout reflects the client's lifestyle and the property's architecture. The team manages every stage from initial design drawings through to final installation, delivering a seamless, high-quality finish.
Bespoke Bedroom Furniture
The workshop crafts fitted bedroom furniture, including wardrobes and storage solutions, tailored to the exact dimensions and style of each client's home. Skilled joiners construct pieces using traditional methods and high-quality materials such as natural oak, maple, or painted tulipwood finishes. Clients choose from a range of carcass options and hardware to create a cohesive, functional space.
Custom Home Office Design
Out of Wood creates bespoke home office furniture designed to integrate seamlessly into existing living spaces or dedicated rooms. The design process considers workflow, storage requirements, and aesthetic preferences to produce practical, handcrafted desks, cabinetry, and shelving. Each piece is manufactured in the Threemilestone workshop, ensuring high standards of joinery and a finish that complements the home.
Kitchen Design and Installation
The company provides a comprehensive design and installation service managing every phase from initial consultation and measured survey to project completion. Designers produce detailed plans and elevations, guiding clients through material selections including paint finishes from Fired Earth or Little Greene. An experienced installation team ensures the finished kitchen is fitted precisely, coordinating with other trades where necessary.
Bespoke Utility Rooms and Furniture
Beyond kitchens and bedrooms, the workshop produces custom utility rooms, boot rooms, and unique freestanding furniture pieces tailored to specific storage needs. Clients can select from solid timber or high-quality board carcasses, with doors hung on traditional inset or soft-close hinges. This flexible service accommodates both fully bespoke projects and customised English-manufactured ranges to suit varying budgets.
