At Moore By Design, we are a family business with roots dating back to the 1950s. Our story began when our Founder and current Director, Maurice Moore, started distributing kitchen appliances throughout the UK to major house builders. His company, ABK, rapidly became the market leader in its field, with warehouses throughout the UK. In 1997, Maurice's son, David Moore, founded Moore By Design Ltd, and we have been operating from our showrooms in Hersham, Surrey ever since.

Our Team

Today, our team is led by Directors David Moore and Mark Butler, who bring over sixty years of combined experience to the table. We are a close-knit family business that is passionate about what we do. We understand that every client is unique, and we take the time to listen to your needs and understand your vision. We operate on an exclusive basis with our German partner, Beckermann Kuechens, which allows us to offer an unrivalled range of classic and contemporary kitchens manufactured to order in their factory in Cappeln, Northern Germany.

We offer an initial consultation, design, and quotation without obligation or charge, so you can see the different approach we can bring to ensure your kitchen is designed exactly how you want it, and installed exactly how you want it, within the agreed time frame and cost.

Our Partnerships

We are proud to partner with Beckermann Kuechens, a German manufacturer that offers an unrivalled range of classic and contemporary kitchens. Our partnership allows us to offer over 300 laminate colours, over 20 solid or veneer woods, and any lacquer colour you require either high-gloss or matt. We deal directly with the factory in Germany, which means we can offer competitive prices without the expense of an expensive sales office or showroom in the UK.
