Family-owned and operated since 1999, our journey began in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, where Tony, armed with years of experience working for Kitchens Ltd, took the leap to establish his own company. Joined by his wife Denise and initial employee Rob, who remains a key member of our team today, A S Brown quickly built a reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering customer service.

Our commitment to exceeding expectations led us to partner with MFI, where our work consistently impressed clients. This positive feedback spurred our growth, as we began to receive referrals from satisfied customers, confidently recommending our services to their friends and family. By 2007, the expanding team welcomed three more family members: Dave (Rob's brother), Ian (Denise's brother), and Billy (Tony's son). This familial dynamic remains central to our core values, fostering a shared dedication to integrity, quality, and client satisfaction.

All electrical work is carried out in compliance with Part P regulations and certified by our NAPIT registered electrician. We also partner with a GasSafe registered engineer who can expertly handle boiler upgrades and other gas-related installations.
