Business Details
We are Oak & Pine by Design, a Yorkshirebased workshop that specialises in handmade kitchens and bespoke furniture. With over 25 years of experience, we have honed traditional joinery techniques passed down through generations of master woodworkers. Our founder, Daniel Fitzpatrick, spent three decades at the lathe and bench, apprenticed in Yorkshire, and has worked on heritage joinery projects across the country. We hold a mark of skill and integrity as an accredited member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen. We offer a complete designtodelivery service, using CAD, material samples and onsite visits to create custommade solutions. Our workshop in Honley is open for appointments, where clients can witness their pieces being crafted from timber selection to handfinishing.
We maintain a stock of over 100 items of furniture and doors, ready for immediate installation. We use sustainably sourced timber such as oak, pine, walnut, mahogany, and reclaimed pine to ensure environmental responsibility. We guarantee that every product is built to last, with handfinished finishes that endure for generations. We take pride in preserving the art of master craftsmen, combining passion, dedication and modern machinery where appropriate. We are committed to client satisfaction, offering free initial consultations and personal oversight of every project from concept to installation.

These spindles are precisionmade to exact specifications, ensuring flawless fit and lasting durability. The result is a distinctive, artisanal touch that elevates any interior.
Heritage Joinery
We restore and replicate heritage joinery for historic buildings across the country, preserving original craftsmanship while meeting modern standards. Each piece is carefully measured, cut and assembled by hand, then finished to match the authentic grain and patina of the original structure. This meticulous approach ensures that every restoration is both faithful and structurally sound.
