Scotton Tree Care is a family-run business, established in 2004 by Ian Lythe and Kevin Davison, both trained at Askham Bryan College. Our reputation for offering professional tree work services with a friendly approach has helped build a valued and respected local company. We take pride in being a local business, focusing on our strong reputation and the trust our customers have placed in us.

Our Story

Ian and Kevin met while studying at Askham Bryan College, where they qualified with a National Diploma in Urban Forestry. The 3-year course consisted of 1 year of college, 1 year of work placement, and a final year back at college. They worked for different companies to gain the experience needed to start their own business. In June 2004, they set up Scotton Tree Care with a goal to provide high-quality tree and hedge services to the local community.
