Chimney Sweeping

We utilise specialist equipment designed for thorough and efficient chimney sweeping. To protect your floors and prevent soot from escaping into your home, we employ heavy cotton canvas worksheets and tailor-made soot cloths during the sweeping process. Our industrial vacuum cleaner, equipped with a three-layer filtration system, ensures the safe and responsible removal of soot, minimising any health risks associated with this carcinogenic material.

Smoke Evacuation Check

Following the chimney sweep, we conduct a crucial smoke evacuation check to ensure the chimney is functioning correctly. Using a specialised smoke pellet, we visually inspect the flue to ensure that smoke and harmful fumes are safely channeled out of the chimney and not accumulating within your home. This step helps identify potential faults in the chimney, flue, or pots, allowing us to address any issues promptly. Please note that this is not a comprehensive smoke test.

Bird Nest Removal

From time to time, birds may decide your chimney is the perfect nesting spot. While we understand the charm of having feathered friends nearby, their nests can create hazardous obstructions. We can safely and efficiently remove existing nests, advising on preventative measures to discourage future nesting activities. However, we are legally prohibited from removing nests during the breeding season (April to September) to protect the vulnerable eggs and chicks.
