Our journey began in 1988 when James Sives founded the business, and over the years, we have grown to become the premier specialist supplier in our sector. We also offer two exclusive surfacing products: Macrebur modified surfacing and Confalt Grouted Macadam Surfacing System. Our team is experienced in working with various clients including public sector, industrial, commercial, education, builders, historic buildings, private estates, leisure, and farmers.

Meet the Team

Our team is led by experienced professionals who have extensive knowledge and experience in the industry.

Colin Smith, our Managing Director, has gained valuable knowledge and experience across various sectors, taking on challenges from start-up to business development. He aims to build on the great work done here at Sives and seek ways to develop relationships with our clients, providing an exceptional service.

Charlie Rogers, our Contracts Manager, has been in surfacing management for 30 years. He is responsible for the day-to-day project management, site HSE, and delivery.

Michael McKenna, our Operations Manager, has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He is responsible for planning, estimations, and compliance.

Jonathan Ross, our Commercial Manager, is an associated member of the RICS with a background in Quantity Surveying. He is focused on maintaining and growing our client base.
