Our Services
We offer a FREE consultation to all prospective clients to discuss your ideas for developing your project and will provide you with some initial fee and project advice. Our services include:
- Feasibility Design: We explore the financial, practical, and planning viability of the project.
- Concept Design: We produce a concept design that gives an initial idea of what can be achieved with a property or site.
- Planning Applications: We provide Outline or Full Planning Applications with a high success rate.
- Structural & Civil Engineering: We arrange full structural and civil engineering design services for your project.
- Building Regulations: We produce high-quality drawings that can be submitted to the local authority for approval.
- Surveys: We provide a variety of survey information ranging from basic boundary & level surveys to fully detailed topographical surveys.
Meet the Team
Our team is led by Lee Adams, Director, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Lee is responsible for leading projects from inception through to completion and the management of multi-disciplinary design teams throughout the UK and Middle East. Robert Kaminski, Director, has vast experience in delivering projects from design through to completion and has extensive knowledge of residential layouts, outline/detail planning applications, building regulations, new build, conversions, and renovations.
Design and Creativity
The reviewers had mixed opinions about Lark's design skills. One reviewer, Nick, was disappointed with the company's lack of creativity and effort in designing unique extensions that blend well with the original house. He felt that they were only interested in simple box extensions and lacked the ability to think outside the box.
Customer Service
On the other hand, Rosie Haley had a very positive experience with Lark. She found them to be knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and flexible. They were also punctual for meetings and produced good work.
Comparison to Other Developments
Nick was unimpressed with Lark's design approach, citing the Smithy Fold development in Kildwick as an example of lazy designing. He felt that the houses lacked imagination and had a negative visual impact on the area.
