Business Details
We are a family-run chimney sweep business based in Tarleton, Lancashire, with a proud history spanning over 50 years. Our journey began with my late father, Tommy Howard, who started the business some 30 years before I entered it in 1990. Today, we have grown beyond belief, serving clients across Preston, Lytham St Annes, Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, North Liverpool, and the surrounding areas. As a Master Chimney Sweep, I hold the only nationally recognised qualification in our field, a CITB/City & Guilds NVQ in Chimney Engineering, which I achieved in 2006. We are also HETAS approved and registered to work on all solid fuel appliances and flues, ensuring compliance with Document J Building Regulations. Our reputation has been built on providing a reliable and honest service, treating every job with the same respect it deserves.
We guarantee that you will not find a better chimney sweep, and we are well known as A Really Good Sweep. Our commitment to cleanliness is absolute: we promise clean sheets, clean shoes, clean overalls, and a clean vehicle. We are fully insured with a minimum of 2,000,000 in public liability cover, and we issue an Official Industry Standard Certificate of Chimney Sweeping upon completion. This certificate is acknowledged by all major household insurance providers, giving our clients complete peace of mind. We are passionate about what we do, and we listen carefully to each customer's needs to deliver a service that is second to none.
