Sarsfield Memorials Liverpool is the oldest family-run Monumental Masons in Liverpool, UK. Our 3rd generation family business has a strong tradition of providing a high quality and personal service to every customer. Our family business was established in 1947 by grandfather James Sarsfield. He was joined by his sons, Tony, Bernard, and Terry, in the 1950s. My father Terry, the youngest of the three brothers, served his apprenticeship in the craft of stone masonry in Carrara, home of the famous marble in Italy, in the 1950s. While there, he studied all aspects of traditional carving and stone masonry. Today, after twenty years' experience as a business manager in the stone masonry industry, I now take great pride in bringing our traditional service approach to a wider public.

We offer a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise, which enables us to produce traditional and individually designed memorials made from high-quality natural materials: marble, granite, slate, or stone. We can also give advice on refurbishing existing memorials. Our services include additional inscriptions, cleaning, refurbishing, and re-fixing, thereby ensuring that your family remembrances are properly cared for.

As the manager of Sarsfields, I believe that our customers deserve a professional and independent bespoke service, combining our carefully crafted products with a high level of personal attention which meets your needs. We are the only family-run Monumental Masons to operate through a combination of online services and personal home visits, ensuring that our service is thoughtfully tailored to meet each individual customer's needs. We make every effort to get to know our customers in the comfort of your own home, enabling us to help you as a family to choose the perfect lasting symbol of remembrance for your loved one.

Primarily operating in the Liverpool area, we cover cemeteries and churchyards in Allerton, Anfield, Kirkdale, West Derby, Everton, Yew Tree, Ford, Knowsley, Prescot, St Helens, Broadgreen, Warrington, Ainsdale, Southport, and the Wirral. However, we are always willing to discuss working further afield - please ask for details. All our staff are fully trained and adhere to the highest quality standards for Monumental Masons. Terry is now 84, but is still actively involved in the stone masonry business. As an honorary member and past president of the National Association of Monumental Masons (NAMM), he provides a highly respected consultancy on all aspects of the industry to Monumental Masons both in the UK and abroad.
