We specialise in designing, building, and installing bespoke Garden Rooms and luxury Glamping Snugs in and around Scotland. Our History

Outside In Garden Rooms was formed in September 2017, when our Director, Melanie Russell, identified a gap in the market for contemporary Garden Rooms in the central belt of Scotland. With a background in the digital agency sector, Melanie was keen to explore opportunities close to her heart, combining her passion for gardening with her business acumen. Through extensive research and product development, Outside In became a reality.

Our Team

Our build team is led by head joiner Michael, who has over 25 years of experience in the joinery, window manufacture, and house building sector. Renowned for his accuracy and attention to detail, you can be assured all of our Rooms will be constructed to the same incredibly high standard.

In 2020, we were fortunate enough to expand our operations to the east coast, with our new hub headed by Wendy Isaac, sister of Melanie. This expansion allowed us to cater to a wider audience and provide our services to even more families and businesses in Scotland.

Since our inception, we've secured a number of industry awards and recognition. In 2020, we were thrilled to be awarded the Start-up of the Year Award at the FSB Awards. In 2022, we were further recognised for our contributions to the industry, solidifying our position as a leader in the garden room and glamping snug market.

Our luxury Glamping Snugs add valuable guest or staff accommodation to any business looking to expand their offering. With options such as the Uno, Duo, and Duet Garden Rooms, you can choose the perfect configuration for your needs. Each room features the following as standard: ground screw foundation, full insulation, laminate flooring, UPVC glazing and doors, superior security, and a full electrical installation.
