Questions
How often should I have my chimney swept?
Annual sweeping is recommended for gas and smokeless fuels. Woodburners require quarterly sweeping during use to prevent soot buildup and carbon monoxide risks.
Are your services insured and certified?
Yes. We are APICS-accredited, fully insured, and issue insurance-compliant certificates. All sweeps carry ID and follow strict safety protocols.
Do you service both residential and commercial properties?
We work with homeowners, holiday agencies, and hospitality businesses across North Devon, offering tailored solutions for domestic and commercial chimney systems.
Can you help with stove installation advice?
While we don't install stoves, we recommend consulting OFTEC engineers. We provide maintenance and efficiency advice for existing solid fuel appliances.
What areas do you cover?
We serve Bideford, Barnstaple, Torridge, and surrounding North Devon areas within a 10-mile radius of Bideford for standard services.
