Wingham Timber

Wingham Timber is an independent timber merchant with over four decades of expertise in supplying high-quality timber and building materials across Kent and the South East. Established in 1980, we operate from our industrial estate base in Wingham, offering a comprehensive range including structural timbers, UC4-treated fencing, decking, cladding, and FSC/PEFC-certified products. Our on-site pressure treatment plant ensures timber meets Use Class 4 standards for ground contact, while our modern facilities house a timber mill, fencing manufacturing plant, and a dedicated wood flooring showroom. With five delivery vehicles, including Hiab-equipped trucks for challenging site access, we provide next-day delivery to trade and retail customers. Our experienced team offers expert advice on product selection, treatment requirements, and project planning, supported by a trade shop stocking fixings, insulation, and construction essentials.

We maintain extensive warehousing for planed softwood, hardwood, sheet materials, and decorative plasterboard, ensuring consistent stock availability. As a family-run business, we prioritise competitive pricing transparency through credit accounts, monthly statements, and tailored customer support. Our commitment to quality extends to a 30-year desired service life for UC4-treated products, backed by free expert advice and Saturday morning deliveries. This combination of heritage, technical expertise, and customer-focused service has cemented our reputation as Kent's trusted timber supplier.
