At Elbourn Architects, we are a RIBA Chartered Practice based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, with a rich history dating back to 2002. Our team of experienced architects, led by Founding Partners Brian Elbourn and Jennifer Elbourn, is dedicated to delivering bespoke, thoughtful, and contextually appropriate buildings that exceed our clients' expectations.

We have worked with a range of clients, including state schools, academies, specialist schools, independent schools, boarding schools, nurseries, and churches. Our portfolio includes projects such as Marlborough Science Academy, Knightsfield School, and Edge Grove School.
Homes
We offer a personal service, providing inspiring, practical, and carefully crafted solutions that reflect the context and brief. Our team has worked with a wide range of private clients, mostly in Hertfordshire, London, and the South East, to deliver quality new build houses, remodelling and extensions to properties of all periods and styles, and repairs and extensions to listed buildings.
Conservation
We have a deep understanding of the importance of conservation and have worked on numerous projects involving sensitive sites in historic or protected settings. Our portfolio includes projects such as Fortis Green Conservation Area, Sopwell Lane listed cottage, and Portland Avenue side and rear extension.
Our Team
Our team of experienced architects includes Founding Partners Brian Elbourn and Jennifer Elbourn, as well as Freelance Architectural Designer Joseph Elbourn. Brian trained in Newcastle and Oxford, while Jennifer completed her architectural training at Edinburgh University. Joseph is an experienced Architectural Designer with a range of skills and experience working for prestigious architectural practices in the UK.
